56 players will qualify for the final steps
A: Players positioned 1-6 in a separate standing from the squads 1-6 conducted on 5-6 September (Saturday-Sunday).
B: Players positioned 1-6 in a separate standing from the squads 7-12 conducted on 7-8 September (Monday-Tuesday).
C: Players positioned 1-40 in the qualification standing.
D: Players positioned 1-4 in the desperado standing.
Players are qualified from the categories in the order C - B - A.
If any player qualifies both from B and C, then the next positioned in the B-standing will qualify.
If any players qualifies both from A and B or C, then the next positioned in the A-standing will qualify.
Players positioned 1-8 in the qualification standing (C) will qualify directly to final step 4.
Players positioned 9-16 in the qualification standing (C) will qualify directly to final step 3.
Players positioned 17-23 in the qualification standing (C) will qualify directly to final step 2.
All other qualified from A, B, C and D are qualified for the final step 1.
Final step 1
32 players will play 4 games starting from scratch (4 players on a pair of lanes).
Top 16 will qualify for the final step 2.
Players not continuing to the final step 2 will be ranked 41-56 according to their positions in the final step 1
Final step 2
24 players will play 4 games starting from scratch (3 players on a pair of lanes).
Top 12 will qualify for the final step 3.
Players not continuing to the final step 3 will be ranked 29-40 according to their positions in the final step 2.
Final step 3
20 players will play 4 games starting from scratch (2 players on a pair of lanes).
Top 8 will qualify for the final step 4.
Players not continuing to the final step 4 will be ranked 17-28 according to their positions in the final step 3.
Final step 4
16 players will play 4 games starting from scratch (2 players on a pair of lanes).
Top 8 will qualify for the final step 5.
Players not continuing to the final step 5 will be ranked 9-16 according to their positions in the final step 4.
Players will be seeded 1-8 for the final step 5 according to their positions in the final step 4
Matches in the final step 5-7
The matches in step 5-7 will be combined according to a single elimination format as presented for each step.
Final step 5
4 matches over 2 games total pin fall, combined as follows:
Match 1: Player seeded 1 vs. Player seeded 8
Match 2: Player seeded 4 vs. Player seeded 5
Match 3: Player seeded 2 vs. Player seeded 7
Match 4: Player seeded 3 vs. Player seeded 6
The 4 winners will continue to the final step 6.
The 4 losers will be ranked 5-8 according to their seeding after the final step 4.
Final step 6
2 matches over 2 games total pin fall, combined as follows:
Match 5: Winner of Match 1 vs. Winner of Match 2.
Match 6: Winner of Match 3 vs. Winner of Match 4.
The 2 winners will continue to the final step 7.
The 2 losers will be ranked 5-8 according to their seeding after the final step 4.

Match 7 over 2 games total pin fall
The loser will be ranked 2
The winner will be ranked 1
Tournament tie rules
Qualification and final steps 1-4
In case of a tie, the highest ranked player will be the player with the highest last game. If a tie still exists the highest ranked player will be the player with the highest second last game, then the player with the highest third last game etc.
Final step 5-7
In case of a tie in a match, a one ball roll off on a full set of pins will be played, repeated until the tie is broken.
Desperado
In case of tie in the desperado squad, the highest positioned player will be the player with the highest position after the qualification.
